How to Build Your Registry

Building your Elegant Sterling registry is easy.

Follow the steps below to create your registry, add items you love, and share it with family and friends. Everything is handled personally by our team — free gift wrapping and local delivery always included.

Create an account

You need an Elegant Sterling account to create and manage your registry. Click here to create your free account. If you already have one, sign in here.

Create your registry

Once signed in, click here to create your registry. Fill in your names, event type (wedding, baby shower, etc.), and your event date. This takes about 2 minutes.

Activate your registry & start adding items

This is the important step. Go to Manage My Registry and click Edit on your registry. This activates your session so items go to the right list. Then browse the store — every product page will show an “Add to Registry” button in blue. Click it and the item is added instantly.

Share your registry link

Once you've added items, go back to Manage My Registry and copy your registry link. Share it with family and friends by email, WhatsApp, or include it in your invitation. Guests can browse your full list anytime.

Tip: Always click Edit on your registry at Manage My Registry before browsing products. This is what connects your browsing session to your registry list. You can come back and add more items anytime.

How guests find and view your registry

Your registry has a unique link that looks like this: elegantsterling.ca/apps/giftregistry/registry/123456. Share this link directly with family and friends. Guests can also search for your name at Find a Registry, or browse all current registries on our Current Registries page.
